Riu Republica, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The staff at the hotel were awesome.  Very friendly and outgoing. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was great. The resort was well maintained and very nice.

Food and drinks were good along with the many different options to choose from.  I love seafood and when we go to the beach that is the biggest thing I look forward to doing is eating LOTS of seafood.  I was disappointed at the lack of seafood available.  I think one night there might have been some shrimp and they did have fried fish. I guess I was expecting to see a little more than what they had to offer.  Even with that being said, it didn't damper our time spent there as we love food in general.

Being this was my first time on an airplane it was a very pleasant experience and we did not run into any issues what so ever. Swift Air staff were very pleasant and attentive. 

We would definitely recommend this resort to others and have done so.  We are looking forward to planning future trips and will definitely be in touch with Maureen Halsey & MemorableTravels.com, to see where the next vacation may take us!!

Friends Group Trip - Sandals La Source Grenada

Thanks again for all your efforts, the trip to Grenada was a huge success.  The resort was specular and we all had a blast.  Weather great, resort was beautifully maintained and we loved every minute.

Interesting island and really very nice…you can see some of the local color from the pics I took while boating around the Grenada area.  Rains for a minute or two just about every day and somewhat windy but that saved our northern skins from burning off.

Much nicer resort than St. Lucia, newer and the grounds were amazingly well cared for.  Just a beautiful place!  Food good, most of the time, service a bit slow on occasion but all in all…..fabulous vacation.

Mobile entry app was awesome and we all made connecting flight with no issues.  Still think it is stupid that the international terminal in Atlanta does not have TSA pre-check but no one seemed too interested in my opinion!!

Girl's Trip - Punta Cana Princess All Suites Resorts, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Maureen, I wanted to let you know we had a great time in Punta Cana.  We especially appreciated not having to stand in line at the Cincinnati airport.  The process went very smoothly.

Our resort was very nice. This resort was a bit low key without a lot going on after 11pm.  We went to the sister resort (they had kids) and surprisingly it had more entertainment throughout the night!

Punta Cana Princess All Suites Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Our honeymoon is over and we had an amazing time in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The people there are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They always had smiles on their faces and loved to party. We really enjoyed  the Punta Cana Princess All Suites Resort. Alexander at the front desk was awesome and joked around with us a lot. I had on a UK hat and he said "Go Big Blue" & "Kentucky Fried Chicken", LOL! Louise & Yosarah were the best bartenders.

Sandals Barbados, St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados

We had a marvelous time, and truly hated leaving.  We were overly impressed with the resort as a whole and the beautiful island. We managed to eat at every restaurant and we loved every single one of them. We did the snorkel and sail catamaran cruise, which turned out to be the most fun we have ever had.  We will most certainty be going back to Sandals for another vacation!

Secrets Royal Beach Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

My fiancé & I along with another couple stayed at the Secrets Royal Beach Resort, Punta Cana, in August and it was fabulous!! The resort grounds and our room were immaculate, the staff took care of our every need and the food was awesome!! Sandals Barbados, St. Lawrence Gap, Barbados

We had a fantastic time in Barbados! The Sandals Barbados Resort was beautiful from the grounds to the beach to our swim up room and restaurants. We loved every meal, especially our final night at Butch's Chophouse.

The water was incredibly warm and a gorgeous turquoise blue color, great for our scuba dive and time spent snorkeling. Swimming with sea turtles was definitely a highlight! The staff on the resort were also friendly and welcoming across the board.

Sugar Bay Resort, St. Thomas

We had a wonderful time on my dream vacation to St. Thomas USVI!! I have wanted to travel there ever since I was little and am so glad that my dream has finally come true.

The Sugar Bay Resort in St. Thomas was great. We also traveled by ferry over to beautiful St. John several times and really enjoyed it there. Some St. John highlights were the Quiet Man pub, Trunk Bay, and our favorite, Honeymoon Beach, for kayaking and snorkeling.

Marriott Frenchman's Reef Resort, St. Thomas

Our stay on St. Thomas was really great. Not only was it a getaway for me, it was my birthday gift. We stayed at the Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort. Arriving at the Marriot we were greeted by some friendly staff and a complimentary Rum Punch drink. Our hotel was surrounded by the beach. The view of the beach was beautiful.  The rooms were very comfortable, it made you feel like home. The beach was gorgeous and the water really clear.

There were about 4 pools as well as several restaurants and bars to choose from. There's plenty to do on the Resort so you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to, but I would suggest catching the Ferry and experiencing the ride over the water to St. John, it’s a wonderful ride. There’s plenty of shopping to do, and restaurants to choose from as well. Make sure you visit Trunk Bay Beach on St. John’s. The beach was very nice and the water beautiful. My favorite beach out of all we visited was Coki Beach. At Coki Beach you can clearly see through the water and feed the school of fish that surrounds you.

The food was also great at the beach. If you ever visit Coki Beach and you like Jerk Chicken, Mrs. Pearl has the best Caribbean Jerk we tasted there. Last but not least, if you like to get out and listen to some good music, eat some good food, or have some good drinks go down to Red Hook. The whole strip has plenty of Bars and Grills to choose from and it’s not that expensive.  The people at Red Hook are very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and will Visit again. Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort & Spa, St. George's, Grenada

This year we were fortunate enough to have our family travel along with us to Sandals La Source, Grenada!  We had a wonderful trip.  We were greeted upon arrival with moist cool towels, champagne, and we had a fruit plate in our room from our wonderful travel agent, Maureen with Memorable Travels!  We stayed in the South Seas Hideaway Walkout Junior Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub.  The room was fabulous and we had a beautiful view.  We also took advantage of the soaking tub on the patio which was very relaxing.  We had our own private pool right in front of our room which was nice, and it was next to the large pool with swim up bar which was super convenient.  We spent a lot of time at the swim up bar! The majority of our days were spent snorkeling.  We took part in the snorkeling provided by the resort which was great, as well as snorkeled on our own because we brought our own snorkel masks.  The water is so beautiful and clear and there was so much to see.  We also took out one of the Hobie Cats which was an adventure, and we kayaked.

The restaurants and food at the resort was AMAZING!  We made sure to get in at least 5 meals per day J Our favorites were definitely the Italian, Cucina Romana, and Butch’s Chophouse.  All of the restaurants were great.   The pizza at Dino’s pizzeria was FABULOUS! We also often made our way for a second lunch at Spices, where they featured a different type of cuisine daily. We also enjoy sushi so Soy was a definite must!  We also really enjoyed Café Paris; we ate breakfast here several mornings, enjoying crepes and waffles, as well as their coffee.  We also made our way there in the afternoon to enjoy a delicious Rum and Raisin or Nutmeg ice-cream milkshake as well as other desserts, such as cupcakes, cookies, etc.

As far as adventures, we took a cab one morning to the town of St. George’s.  We went to the local spice market, saw the Fort St. George, went to a wonderful Chocolate shop and shared a delicious brownie, and spent time getting some souvenirs.  We also took a morning to do the River Rafting Adventure.  We were on inner-tubes down a river with rapids.  We had great guides that let us do some cliff diving as well as let us try fresh mango off of the tree.

The entertainment at the resort was fabulous!  They really do have a wonderful staff.  The boys enjoyed pool and beach volleyball!  We spent the evenings listening to the music and the other entertainment that was provided which was great.  The last evening of our trip we were able to enjoy the beach party, which included wonderful local cuisine, fire breathing, dancing, and the entertainment group wore their Carnival clothing which was very interesting!

This trip was very special because not only did we get to spend it with family, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, my husband’s parents’ anniversary, and my husband’s birthday all in one trip!  We would like to thank our wonderful travel agent, Maureen, for making it such a wonderful, care-free experience!

Sandals Regency La Toc, Golf Resort & Spa, St. Lucia

This year our vacation/3rd year Anniversary, was spent on the amazing island of St. Lucia.  We stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc, and it was absolutely beautiful.  Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean, and we were located close to all restaurants and pool areas.  Our days were spent lounging by the pool underneath an umbrella & sipping on fruity drinks from the swim-up pool bar.  Although I prefer to relax, my husband partook in the daily activities provided by the Play-Makers of the resort; his favorite was beach and pool volleyball.  The resort had a vast array of restaurants to choose from, and we dined at all of them.  Although it was a difficult choice, our favorite was the Pitons, which served Caribbean inspired dishes.  All of the restaurants provide amazing views of the ocean!  Our evenings were spent enjoying karaoke from Herbie’s piano bar, sipping wine around the fire pits, and enjoying the local entertainment, such as the steel drum players.  Since we were returning Sandals guests, we were invited to the Sandals Select Dinner, which was absolutely FABULOUS!  The food was amazing, and the resort went out of their way to make us feel special.

During our stay, we took a day to do the Land and Sea Tour.  It was great!  We were able to see several fishing villages, walk around the towns and see old architecture, such as a Roman Catholic Church built over 100 years ago.  We also stopped for a beautiful view of the Pitons, which we were told is now the 8th wonder of the world.  They are two awesome mountains!  We were taken to a Botanical Garden which was beautiful and to see a waterfall.  We then proceeded to the volcano where we took the opportunity to do the sulfur bath.  We covered ourselves in ash material from the volcano and then immersed ourselves into an extremely hot “bath.”  They say the ash helps with multiple ailments of the body and improves your skin—it actually did!  We were then provided with a wonderful meal and taken to a Catamaran which took us snorkeling.  It was a wonderful experience!
 
Since my husband and I really enjoy snorkeling, we actually took our own masks for this trip.  The resort had lots of reefs close by which allowed us to snorkel everyday on our own, which we really enjoyed.

We are very thankful for such a wonderful trip and thankful for Memorable Travels for always finding us the most amazing places for vacation!

Iberostar Grand Bavaro, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

The Iberostar Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana was a perfect place to relax! The room was spacious with a separate entrance, large closet and mini-fridge. The balcony was very large and we had a great view of the resort and the ocean in the background. The bathroom was also very large with a full wide shower, separate toilet, dual sinks and large Jacuzzi tub.

The ala carte restaurants were great! Nice beach with lots of space. The hotel is very opulent, reminded me of a palace. I would highly recommend it for people who want to relax, eat and enjoy the beach. The spa and fitness center were phenomenal! We even had Wi Fi that worked while we were lounging on the beach. I would not recommend it for those who want lots of partying, activity etc. As a guest at this hotel, you can use the two sister hotels, which were an easy walk on the beach less than a 1/2 mile. They seemed much larger, louder and with more activities. One looked great for families and kids. If you ever have a client that has questions about this place I would be happy to answer them for you.

St. Croix, Hotel on the Cay, Waves at Cane Bay,
and the Tamarind Reef Resort

Andrew and I had the most wonderful time on our visit to St. Croix last December – The Island is everything those television ads say it is. We stayed ten days and Maureen booked us into 3 good hotels on different parts of the island.

First was the really fun Hotel on the Cay in  Christiansted-- “downtown”  except that the hotel is on a little island  which is reached by the tiny hotel ferry  which runs  back and forth from the edge of the town to the island.  The only downtown hotel with a beach--a perfect place to watch the sunset and relax with a tropic beverage--also there was, surprising to me, lots to see while snorkeling right around the hotel pier.  Some of our favorite restaurants in downtown Christiansted were a truly beautiful and delicious Thai Restaurant, called Galangal and a small place with excellent coffee and delicious salads and other fresh foods was Twin Cities. We also enjoyed these seaside restaurants on the boardwalk, the Brew Pub (which makes its own beer, as the name suggests), Angry Nate’s, and Rum Runners. A lovely shop with unusual things is Gone Tropical at 5 Company Street in Christiansted. We drove out to the Botanic Gardens one day, and walked around.

We stayed two nights at the Waves at Cane Bay – a truly beautiful part of the island. There is an excellent small restaurant at the Hotel, The Galleon, - wonderful food and a perfect view. This is a small, charming, family-run hotel, convenient to The Wall, a favorite spot for divers.  The North Shore of the island is beautiful. – we had a delicious meal along the North Shore Road at a place called Rowdy Dave’s which also has local live music some evenings and is popular with local people.   Also a fun beach food restaurant on the North Shore is EAT, across the road from a nice beach where several people were snorkeling, although the day we were there the sea was a little rough. The laid back bartender at EAT kept our rental car keys for us while we swam.  Don’t miss a trip to Buck Island for snorkeling – we went with Captain Hines, a great day trip.

We drove one day past the Buccaneer Resort and went in to look around—the staff was very friendly - we looked at the menu and intended to come back for lunch or dinner although we never got around to this. The part of the restaurant that was covered but open to the air was beautifully situated with great views across a valley.

Before we went home we stayed several days at the Tamarind Reef Resort a larger hotel then the other two, with a small spa and a big outdoor restaurant and bar – serving all 3 meals. It was lots of fun to sit on our small private patio and look out at the beach- There was an expanse of grass before the sand began, a favorite stroll for iguanas.  The hotel has a good breakfast-- we also ate at the Blue Water Terrace, and drove to Duggan’s, a pretty restaurant where we ate on a large screened porch, --lobster is the specialty here, and they prepare it in several different ways. The ceiling fans and big rattan chairs felt like something in a Somerset Maugham South Seas story. We drove one day to Udall point-- a high place on the island, with beautiful views.

I felt very safe in St. Croix although, we were warned by several people never to leave anything of value in our rental car, which we did not.

The RIU was amazing, everyone was super nice, the food was great every night and the service was top notch. Our room was very pretty, all tile with a separate seating area. The furniture was all old Victorian style. We were in the main building on the 7th floor so our view was to die for.

I would defiantly recommend this hotel and island to any one!!!

Renaissance Curacao Resort

Thank you so much for the champagne in our room! That was so thoughtful of you and we really enjoyed having a festive toast to our trip and anniversary. Curacao was amazing. We discovered why they call it "Blue Curacao" - the water was the clearest and prettiest we have ever seen. We snorkeled (because you have to when you're there of course) and saw thousands of fish, sea urchins, crabs, and conchs.

The town of Willemstad was quaint and we loved the area. You also picked the best hotel ever for us! The Renaissance was gorgeous, in the perfect area right between the beach and the town, and the people there were so helpful and friendly. We had candlelit private dinners on the beach and the all-inclusive plan includes a dine-around program where the hotel gives you vouchers to have dinner at other area restaurants so you can try a lot of the local cuisine.

The eternity beach was our favorite part. It was a long white sand beach reaching into an infinity pool filled with clear Curacao ocean water that looks out over the Caribbean. It was breathtaking, and we made it a point to go there at least for a bit every day. We really loved Curacao and you found the perfect place for us to enjoy it from.

What a wonderful job you did guiding us to the Sandals Grand Antigua! Everything was as you said it would be – romantic, exotic, exciting yet relaxing. The facilities were top notch – we asked for a suite located on a high floor as we really enjoy great views – we were located on the top of the 7 floor Cypress Tower! The best view in the place – magnificent.

The staff was wonderful, the Red Lane spa Couples Champagne Celebration was a once in a lifetime experience in and of itself

The private Romantic Dinner on the Beach was especially wonderful – very private, tender moments, great food, kisses, etc.

I only gained 4 pounds!! We ate at all of the restaurants and hard to pick a favorite but probably Kimonos was the best. Our Chef (Sugar) made it even more amazing through his funny and interesting stories. The service at all of the restaurants was impeccable.

Every employee we met along the way – walking to the beach, to eat, to look at the amazing scenery, etc – greeted us – the concierge staff knew who we were – upon arrival the Director of Concierge Services escorted us to our suite – that was a special touch. Also, thank you so much for the flowers…very beautiful and much appreciated!

We took a 3.5 hour Best of Antigua tour and our personal tour guide was excellent. Our last night there we took the Antigua Sunset cruise – we had a great time during this 2.5 hour excursion.

Thank you so much for making our 40th anniversary trip AMAZING.

Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa
San Juan, Puerto Rico

We had a great time in Puerto Rico.  It is a beautiful hotel and the pool and the beach were fabulous but at times the service was really poor and it took us a while to figure out how to get off the compound. But the tours the hotel provided were fantastic.  I would tell anyone considering this hotel that the food at the hotel is very expensive and there isn't any food very close.  A car would have made it easier.  We did speak to the manager about the poor service and they did try and make up for it with $50 a person off the bill which was nice.  I would go back to PR in a heartbeat but next time maybe stay in a smaller hotel closer to a town or do a condo.

We are thinking about the Dominican Republic next year and we would like to consider an all inclusive or a condo. So we will let you know when we are ready to start planning.

Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

I wanted to give you an update about our trip to Punta Cana DR. First of all, Andrew and I had a great time and I believe the other 9 people did also!

The resort was really nice. It was big, but we didn't mind that at all. The trolley that ran through the property was very convenient and you never waited more than a few minutes for one to drive by. Very convenient! The grounds were extremely well taken care of and the rooms were a good size with pretty marble bathrooms. The rooms did not have any musty smell like our room at Dunn's River in Jamaica had. All the rooms seemed to be the same throughout the resort for the most part.

Some of our group upon check in were advised that they were being upgraded to Gold which we never figured out what the difference was with their room or what the different colored bracelet stood for because we all ended up with the same benefits/amenities. There were several different colored bracelets and the only colors we were able to establish having upgraded amenities were the Black and Clear bracelets. They had their own pools and restaurants etc. One of the couples that were apparently upgraded were asked to pay $20 to do so. The rest of us were not asked for money. If we hadn't gone in such a large group, and all checking in a different times, we would probably never have discovered this.

The food in the restaurants was good and the buffets were just OK. Breakfast was our favorite meal at the buffets. There was always something you could find that you liked to eat for the most part. The variety of food really catered to many different cultures which I think was good.

There was an issue with making restaurant reservations with our group. Some of us made our dinner reservations as soon as we checked in and that seemed to be the best thing to do. Even when we did that we were not always able to get the restaurants we wanted at the time and days we wanted, but it was much better than if we tried waiting until the day of. Dinner reservations on the day of were impossible.

The vendors that came to the property every Friday were a little greedy. For example, their start price for a shell/beaded ring that was costume jewelry was $160 US. We were able to barter it down to $20 US. I can't imagine those who actually paid even close to the price they were asking. There were some vendors that were very nice and not pushy and others that were arrogant and very pushy and wouldn't budge even $1 for a bunch of magnets. This has not been our experience in other countries.

The beach was absolutely gorgeous! You could take long walks and swim and there were a lot of beach chairs. You did need to get up early and secure your beach chairs for the day though or you might be out of luck until after noon.

The airport and transportation to and from the airport were excellent. To enter DR you must pay $10 per person US. The wait for our flight home was a bit long, and the airport does get crowded, but that was the only inconvenience.

Overall we had a great time and we would go back. I actually think this resort was nicer that the Riu and some of the others in the immediate area.

We had a wonderful trip!

Our time at Regency was nice, but the service at Jade was better.

Jade Mountain was absolutely incredible! We would refer people to this resort. The room was breath taking, the service was impeccable, and the food was first class; breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The resort has many excursions to choose from. I would recommend that you pay the extra cost to go on the meal plan (all inclusive). The meals can add up very quickly. We had never walked into a room where we were absolutely speechless. Our stay here went beyond our expectations.

Ladera was also very nice. This resort is about 30 years old, but has been kept up nicely. It's not as fancy or expansive as Jade. I would recommend this resort to others. We were only there for one day & evening, but out first impression was positive. The only draw back I noticed was the shuttle to and from the beach ran at scheduled times and not all day as needed. So you had to plan accordingly. Due to this schedule, we were unable to take a trip to the beach during our stay. But having the plunge pool in our room and a pool at the resort, it all worked out.

Thank you for helping set up such a wonderful anniversary vacation. We will always remember this trip!

Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island, Nassau, Bahamas

We had a wonderful time and Royal Bahamian was beautiful!  We really didn't do that many things on the resort other than eat, drink and relax...but that is a vacation in my book! We tried to snorkel but it was too rough and they were not taking any trips out.

Joe and I chartered a fishing trip with a local and it was incredible!  we got to see a lot of islands and Joe caught some bonefish.  It was a cool experience and highly recommend "Bonefish Simon" to anyone!  We also went over to the markets and Atlantis.  We are thinking of taking the kids back to stay there in a few years.

Thank you for all your help!  And hopefully we will be able to book again in a year or two!

Ti Kaye Village Resort, St. Lucia

St. Lucia was simply wonderful and Ti Kaye Village lived up to all our expectations. It was a dream honeymoon!

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, Turks & Caicos

We are so glad we picked Beaches Turks and Caicos. We both got deep water scuba certified while there. It was so neat to swim 60 feet down.

Tayden stayed in Camp Sesame (daycare) while we were scuba diving on several days. He loved it. I felt completed comfortable with the staff and the Sesame Street character activities were enjoyed by my son. We went to several of the Sesame Street stage shows and my 2 year old son danced and jumped with excitement.

Oh, how can I comment without mentioning Bobby Dee's restaurant and the Pirates Island water park where we spent at least a few hours every day. Tayden would cry and say "water" each night when we were returning to the room. The French village was nice and clean with maid service twice daily.

Thank you so much for everything! We love love loved our honeymoon. It could not have been more perfect. We were upgraded a room to beach front. We got a $250 spa credit (we were going to get a massage regardless, but it being "free" was awesome).

The room was great! The food, oh my gosh, amazing. I keep using amazing, because it was. We have decided we will definitely do Sandals again! We think there is no other way to do it. With the service, price, activities, location, food, drinks...what more can you ask for! Not only all the Sandals stuff, everything you had done helped us so much.

We sat next to each other on our flights both times, everything was straight forward, no questions. You were amazing! I haven't uploaded any pictures yet, but I will get some to you as soon as I do.

Thank you again. Next time we are ready to go somewhere, your number is programmed into my phone. I have also given it to my mom and dad!

I don't know how many times I could tell you thank you! You really are wonderful, and you really helped us not worry. The honeymoon was wonderful.

"WeddingMoon"

We had a ball, I am soo grateful to you. I loved everyday more and more!!! We were greeted by such wonderful people that live by the motto " No Pressure, No Problem." We traveled to all the Sandals Resorts, dined and admired the beautiful views. But out of the three, I loved the Regency the most, everyone there knew who we were and treated us like royalty. Everyone knew we were getting married and when, and made each day there more Memorable then we could have ever dreamed.

While there we took advantage of everyday we had on that beautiful beach. We went on a tour on a speed boat and saw one of the oldest villages which consisted of 2000 people, we went through the beautiful rainforest, visited the drive thru volcano and took a mud bath ( it is said to be the best stuff for the skin) "I must say my skin was extra soft and smooth when I rinsed off". We relaxed in a natural hot tub heated by the earth and enriched with the sulfur of the volcano. Then we rinsed off in a beautiful waterfall surrounded by the most unique flowers I have ever seen. We went snorkeling between the two twin mountains and it was simply beautiful. Sorry I forgot the water proof camera but it is an experience I will never forget.

On Friday June 4th, I married the love of my life and it was beautiful. For our first dinner as husband and wife Sandals personalized a menu just for us. Later that day there was a street party and it felt like it was in honor of us (even though that is the normal there every friday). The street party was full of live entertainment, from all kinds of food buffets to dancers, human fire breathing dragons, limbo dancers to really big stilt dancers. It was absolutely wonderful.

Everyone made us feel like family and we will definitely do travel again with the help of Memorable Travels and Sandals. Thank you so much, without you I don't think we could have made the week we spent together in St. Lucia as Memorable as it was and will continue to be remembered.

Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa

We absolutely loved Sandals! Have never been to a hotel/resort where they were more eager to please a guest! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was great, and the resort was beautiful.

The room was great. The bed was very comfortable - and huge! That section of rooms is very cozy and I like how they're tucked away behind the gardens. I especially liked our own little 'private' pool which was right outside the rooms.

I will admit I thought at first that the trip was a little pricey, but after adding up what we would have spent on food, drinks, and activities (which were all included in the price) it is a great bargain!! I'm so spoiled now that it would be hard for me to stay anywhere other than Sandals again.

I can't say enough good things about the resort!

Sandals Halcyon Beach, St. Lucia

John and I had a wonderful time. We loved St Lucia and already are thinking about our 1 year anniversary at a Sandals. We will let you know when we decide where we want to go because after our honeymoon we decided we are going to go somewhere each year on our anniversary. We had an amazing time. The last day we got the couples massage on the beach. It was the most relaxing and the best way to end our honeymoon.

While we were there we went on the dolphin and whale watching trip. We saw all kinds of whales and dolphins while they served us all day with Rum Punch! Then we went on the Land and Sea trip. It was amazing. We saw the waterfall, botanical gardens, a volcano, the Pitons, etc. We just had the time of our lives. I have attached some of the pictures that the resort took of us.

I could tell that some of the people there were regulars and I hope some day we will be regulars too. I know I stood out from everyone else because I was enjoying myself so much. I have never done anything like this before. I have traveled many places in Europe but never an Island where I felt so important. It was great! J

Thank you so much for helping us with our honeymoon! From the honeymoon registry, (that our guest loved!) to the perfect location choice of St Lucia, everything was wonderful. We found the Sandals resort that you recommended the perfect place for romance. We had heard that Sandals were couples only, but it wasn't until we experienced it for ourselves that we could tell what a difference that one thing made.

The pool areas and beach is where we noticed it first, but soon the entire property gleamed a calm that was distinctive. You could hear the wind gently blowing and the surf off in the distance without ever an outburst or cry. It made every moment our very own. And because it is couples only all the guest are basically in love, and you can sense it. There are no college spring breakers or traveling soccer teams, just people in love. As you know Kim and I have cruised several times but until our Honeymoon at Sandals La Toc we had never experienced this. We found it surprisingly enjoyable.

St Lucia was a beautiful Island and we loved that there were two other Sandals properties on the island that we could use anytime. We hiked up some really cool island mountains and explored the old Spanish forts. We even had our cab driver (St Claire) drive us to a “secret beach” on the eastern side where there wasn't anyone around for miles. We had the entire beach to ourselves, which will go down as one of our greatest times together.

We can’t thank you enough for all the extra work that you did for us. From the fuel that you saved us at the last minute to the mistaken Spa charge that you worked on well past our returning home to get corrected. Kim and I want to extend our deepest thanks. You placed us in the perfect spot and made our honeymoon distinctively special from any of our past travels.

Just wanted to let you know we had a GREAT time in St. Lucia. Sandals was very nice. We got an upgrade to a Presidential Butler suite-which was SOOOOO nice!!! It really made our trip! We loved the pools and the spa. We took 2 tours....although we didn't go with the resort. One was an island tour and the other was zip lining. We went with a guy on the beach named Simon. I had read good things about him on Trip Advisor and his tours were VERY good. His wife even cooked lunch on one of the tours-which Shawn said was the best food he had had. (I didn't eat-I'm pretty picky.)

Thanks for all you help planning our honeymoon to Sandals Royal Bahamian. The resort was so beautiful. The people at the resort were so helpful when we needed something. Todd's birthday was on Thursday, and I told one of the employees at breakfast. They brought out a plate that had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup and a muffin. I sent a couple of pictures for the website for you to use. We would highly recommend this for couples.

Thank you so much for helping us plan a perfect honeymoon :)  We had such a wonderful time and look forward to going back in the future.  St. Lucia was so beautiful and the was wonderful!!  We desperately miss our daily cocktails on the beach!!  The island is full of charm and character and the locals are so friendly.

We made a few friends while on the island.  Patrick Paul was our cab driver...he was so great and took us on an all-day tour of the island.  He was so knowledgeable and even bought us our favorite St. Lucian beer (Piton) on the way back to the airport.  Natasha was great too.  She was a waitress at the Arizona Grill at the resort.  She would always greet us with a smile and would help us in any way possible!

We enjoyed a couples massage our last day at the resort and it was the best massage that either one of us has ever had!!!!  Definitely worth the money!  Thank you so much for everything and we look forward to working with you in the near future!!

Butler Suite

We really had a blast at Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa. The entire experience was more than either of us ever imagined. The view from our room in the butler suites was amazing, the rooms were huge and the entire week was so much fun. Our butler was so nice and did everything we asked him to do, from bringing us room service, which was included in the butler package, to saving our spots by the pool. Everyone on the resort was so friendly!

I will have to say though that my favorite part was the food. Each night we got to choose from the most amazing selections of top notch food. Never in my life have I dined in such beautiful settings. From breakfast overlooking the pool and the bluff to a romantic dinner at Gordon's on the dock overlooking the bay at the Grand.

We had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to go again. To be honest, I didn't want to come home. Thank you for the thoughtful note we received while we were there!! And also thank you so much for all your help in planning this amazing trip for us!!!

TAMARIJN ARUBA

Everything went perfectly with the honeymoon, with one exception, nothing wrong on your end, I just lost my wedding band in the Caribbean! It came off when snorkeling in front of our room. As for the Tamarijn, it was great. Not quite what we expected (we were thinking a bit more upscale) but it turned out for the better anyway. It was relaxing, not stuffy like a more upscale resort would have felt. The wait-staff was great, the food was good, everything that was included in the all-inclusive was well worth it. If we decide to go back to Aruba we would definitely stay at the Tamarijn. Were thinking about trying to stay on Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire all on the same trip.

Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa
WITH A BUTLER!

Antigua was wonderful. The beach at the Sandals Antigua was so beautiful, and the Caribbean water was perfect. The resort itself is an amazing place, very relaxing and the people there are so friendly. Upgrading to the butler service made our honeymoon that much more special. They made everything so easy to do and they went that extra step to make us feel welcome and make our honeymoon very special.

Upgrading to the Butler room really helped make our trip ... beach towels were waiting outside our door every morning, we got a cooler full of beer and water for the beach everyday, they would bring us drinks on the beach just because they thought we might be thirsty, made all of our dinner/activity reservations. They just made it really pleasurable and hassle free.

If you have anyone considering going there we suggest they do so!

Ladera, St. Lucia
(Stayed at two resorts)

"The suites and villas are like luxurious tree houses. The netting draped over your four poster bed is all that separates you from this glorious outside world."

Ladera was a very neat place in many respects. Very small, so very quiet, which we liked for being on a honeymoon. The view was absolutely amazing! The room was kind of cool. It had a neat little waterfall that went into our plunge pool. The amenities were pretty nice; the furniture was comfortable and there was always coffee available. The restaurant was good and the service was great. The beach at Jalousie (nearby) was really nice, and the little wildlife area they have roped off was great for snorkeling.

The rooms were not entirely as isolated as one might hope - while there was no danger of anyone looking in your room, we did on rare occasion hear people in the adjoining rooms. Be aware that moths swarm the lights in the evening. There was insect/frog noise at night, but we didn't mind that. We were glad we stayed here, but also agreed that 2-3 days was the ideal. We would not recommend the all-inclusive plan (for this particular resort). With breakfast being provided and having a light snack in the afternoon, we ate dinner at Dashene and spent less than if we had been all-inclusive.

Rendezvous, St. Lucia

Having the all-inclusive plan here we really enjoyed being able to eat and drink whatever & whenever we wanted and having many activities going on ... or just lying in a beach chair doing nothing. We ended up going tubing a couple of times and took the free scuba diving lesson that came with our package. To me this was the most fun thing we did on the trip. It was absolutely amazing!! I would recommend this to anyone. The staff was very nice and very helpful, and they even tried to learn our names. When we arrived they had covered the bed in flowers and left us a basket of fruit and champagne. The luxury oceanfront rooms were in the best location on the property. The beach area was not totally usable. There were lots of broken shells in the water.

St. Lucia was a very nice place. The scenery is nice and it has the whole laid back feel that you picture most islands having. We would recommend either place that we stayed, especially Ladera for those who would want a more intimate setting. We had a good time and would certainly not rule out return visits.

Tahiti: Intercontinental Tahiti and Moorea

Sorry it has been so long getting back to you since the trip. We've been very busy ever since we've gotten back. Everything went perfect on the trip. All reservations were correct and all transportation was amazingly smooth. It only rained one time during the day for about an hour, and I think it may have rained twice at night for a short time as well. The weather really worked out for us. The extra activities were great, as well as the hotel facilities.

Melia Caribe Tropical, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Our resort was beautiful and the staff did everything to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time. They don't serve Coke at any of the restaurants but our representative went out of his way and brought back some for me!! The food was wonderful and the scenery left me speechless. We took a few tours around the island and learned a lot about the culture and way of life. The best part was getting the upgrade to the "Royal Service" ...it was awesome!! We plan on going back maybe for our 10 year anniversary!! We'll let you know.
